Ny massiv CoD: WWII-uppdatering

Den första expansionen till Call of Duty: WWII närmar sig, den 30 januari släpps The Resistance som ger oss tre nya kartor för flerspelarläget, och en ny bana där vi får skjuta Nazi Zombies.

Activision och Sledgehammer Games förbereder oss emellertid med en stor uppdatering, och i patch 1.09 balanserar de vapen, gör det snabbare att återfå liv och lagar en hel drös av buggar. Dessutom har högkvarteret pyntats med flaggor, bilar och andra godsaker, och utvecklarna tjuvstartar med The Resistance-eventet.

Grand Theft Auto Online uppdateras – Smuggler’s Run är här

Rockstar fortsätter att stödja sitt enormt populära Grand Theft Auto V och dess onlinemöjligheter. Nu har de släppt uppdateringen Smuggler’s Run, och här introduceras nya möjligheter att smuggla illegalt gods i luften.

Bland nyheterna hittar vi både plan och helikoptrar, bland annat Buckingham Alpha-Z1, LF-22 Starling, Mammoth Tula samt Nagasaki Havok. Dessutom inkluderas ett gäng nya byggnader som kan köpas, och dessa innefattar exempelvis bostäder och kontor.

Smuggler’s Run innehåller också ett nytt Adversary Mode, där spelarna placeras i klaustrofobiska utrymmen, och ska sedan arbeta tillsammans med tre lagkamrater för att hitta ett fordon och stå som ensamma kvar i matchen. Dessutom gör en två nya bilar entré, Vapid Retinue samt Grotti Vision.

Ny uppdatering till ARMS

Nintendo har lagt ut en ny uppdatering till sitt Nintendo Switch-lir ARMS.

Det handlar om patch nummer 2.1, och det rör sig om ändringar som balanserar karaktärerna, och deras attackerande armar. Uppdateringen lägger också till några nya funktioner, så som fem nya träningsmöjligheter. Dessutom åtgärdar patchen även en del problem.

  • Moved “Training” to the top menu.

  • For “Best Stage” in Stats, made it harder for less frequently played stages to be selected, even if you have a high win ration on them.

Minecraft uppdateras till Nintendo Switch – ger spelet 1080p-stöd

Mojang meddelar att de kommer att släppa en uppdatering till Nintendo Switch-versionen av Minecraft idag.

Förutom att patchen åtgärdar diverse buggar och problem, så får Nintendo Switch-ägarna även möjligheten att spela Minecraft i 1080p i dockat läge.

Ny Final Fantasy XV-patch lägger till ”Stable Mode” för PS4 Pro

Square Enix avslöjar via ett japanskt pressmeddelande att de ämnar att lassa ut en ny patch till Final Fantasy XV den 27 april. Den största nyheten är att uppdateringen kommer att inkludera ett ”Stable Mode” för spelare med PlayStation 4 Pro.

Namnet ”Stable Mode” kan emellertid komma att ändras när det kommer till den västerländska versionen, men den nya funktionen kommer att förbättra bilduppdateringen. Square Enix har dock inte avslöjat några specifika siffror – för bild per sekund – i dagsläget.

Uppdateringen kommer också med en ny valmöjlighet som kommer att göra det möjligt att ändra storleken på teckensnittet när det kommer till undertexter, menyer och utrustning. Dessutom kommer patchen med en ny tidsbaserad jaktutmaning, och den här gången står ”Infamous Treant” för motståndet.

Uncharted 4: Survival släppt – här är lanseringstrailern

För en knapp vecka sedan rapporterade vi om att Naughty Dog skulle komma att släppa det nya spelläget Survival till sitt Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End, och nu är det nya materialet här.

Survival-läget kan spelas ensam eller tillsammans med två vänner, och här möter spelarna 50 vågor av fiender. Vågorna av motsåndare blir förstås svårare och svårare, och spelarna får olika utmaningar att ta sig ann. Dessutom kommer vi att ställas mot olika bossar, och spelläget kan köras på fem olika svårighetsgrader.

Det nya Uncharted 4-materialet väger in på 3,7 gigabytes, och ni ser en lanseringsvideo för detta nedan.

The Elder Scrolls Online uppdateras – får HDR-stöd till PS4

ZeniMax Online Studios har uppdaterat The Elder Scrolls Online med patch 1.19 till PlayStation 4.

Den mest noterbara nyheten är att The Elder Scrolls Online får HDR-stöd, både till PlayStation 4 Pro och PlayStation 4. Uppdateringen väger in på 902MB, och kommer även med drycken Mythical Aetherial Ambrosia som ger 150% erfarenhetsbonus medan den är aktiv.

HDR Support
We now support HDR on the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 4 Pro!

  • If you are connected to an HDR-capable TV when you start the game, you will get a system message asking if you want to switch to HDR mode. From that point on, game will run in HDR mode.
  • There is a slider present in the UI settings to adjust the HDR brightness to match your TV settings. Please see Sony’s recommendations for which TVs to use to get the best HDR experience.

Mythical Aetherial Ambrosia
We’ve introduced Mythic Aetherial Ambrosia to Tamriel! Mythic Aetherial Ambrosia is an incredibly rare, incredibly potent version of Psijic Ambrosia. Drinking it grants you a +150% bonus to the Experience you gain while it is in effect, and just like Psijic Ambrosia, its consumption and crafting is affected by your Connoisseur and Brewer passives. While Mythic Aetherial Ambrosia will stack with other foods or drinks, it will not stack with Psijic Ambrosia.

  • To craft Mythic Aetherial Ambrosia, you must first find an Aetheric Cipher.
    • This extremely rare item can potentially be found on any monster within certain areas, listed below.
    • You also need a Recipe Scroll for Psijic Ambrosia.
    • Use the Aetheric Cipher while the Psijic Ambrosia Recipe scroll is in your inventory, and the recipe scroll will transform into a Mythic Aetherial Ambrosia Recipe scroll.
    • This recipe can only be understood by those with the highest rank of the Recipe Quality Provisioner passive.
  • The recipe for Mythic Aetherial Ambrosia calls for one unit of Aetherial Dust and one Psijic Ambrosia drink.
    • Aetherial Dust is very rarely found on the resource nodes in certain zones – it can appear on ore, raw cloth, fallen wood, alchemical herbs and mushrooms, and water sources. It is not found on monsters.
  • Both the Aetheric Cipher and Aetherial Dust are unbound, meaning that they can be traded and sold from one player to another. These items will only appear in the following areas:

  • Celestial Investigator: Adjusted the wording for this achievement to specify which of the associated quests are intended for a group.
    • Note: This is not yet fixed in German and French game clients.
  • They Were Just Rusty: This achievement will now be awarded only after defeating The Guardians in Volenfell after reading the Scroll of Glorious Battle.

Collections

  • Fixed an issue where the Begonia collectibles were categorized as Jewelry Collectibles instead of Facial Accessory Collectibles.
  • Changed the names of the collectibles that remove the Hair Style and Facial Hair chosen at character create as follows:

  • Reordered the appearance collectibles so when removal collectibles are present, they are always the first option listed.

Stor patch till Final Fantasy XV

Square Enix berättade tidigare att förseningen av Final Fantasy XV bland annat berodde på att de vill att rollspelet ska vara ett så helt spel som möjligt när det lanseras på skiva, för att folk som inte har möjlighet att ladda ned en tung patch ska kunna få en ”behaglig resa” ända fram till spelets slut. Trots detta är dag-ett-uppdateringen riktigt stor.

‘Day One’-patchen väger in på 8GB, och den kommer med ett gäng olika spelmässiga förbättringar. Bland annat erbjuds en bättre kamera med flera olika alternativ för spelaren att välja mellan, och nya filmsekvenser inkluderas samt klipp från Kingsglaive: Final Fantasy XV.

Dessutom inkluderar uppdateringen bland annat en pryl som kallas för Beast Whistle vilken används för att kalla på monster, och vi får också en funktion som låter oss ladda upp bilderna – som Prompto tar – på Facebook och Twitter.

Ny Uncharted 4-patch släppt – nästa test av Classic-läget försenas

Naughty Dog fortsätter att stödja Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End, och studion har släppt en ny patch för flerspelarläget. Förvänta dig dock inte några spelmässiga nyheter, och dessutom tvingas studion att skjuta upp sitt andra test av det kommande Classic-läget.

Den nya uppdateringen, 1.17.045, och patchen ska bland annat lösa problemet med att spelare kan höra sina motståndare genom headsetet inför rankade Team Deathmatch-rundor. Dessutom har vissa spelare förlorat sin progression vad gäller Trails och rankade, lagbaserade dödsmatcher.

Naughty Dog skjuter fram sitt test av det kommande Classic-läget till den 18 november, och anledningen är att studion har upptäckt en bugg som förhindrar spelare från att levla upp.

Final Fantasy XV-demot Judgement Disk uppdateras – Platinum-demot försvinner vid nyår

Det senaste Final Fantasy XV-demot Judgement Disk har fått god kritik, men vissa spelare har fått lida av en del glitchar och andra mindre problem. Regissören Hajime Tabata lovar att felen kommer att rättas till med en kommande ‘hotfix,’ och samtidigt berättar han varför Final Fantasy XV försenades två månader mot det tidigare höstdatumet.

Square Enix vill att Final Fantasy XV ska vara ett så helt spel som möjligt när det lanseras på skiva, för att folk som inte har möjlighet att ladda ned en tung patch ska kunna få en ”behaglig resa” ända fram till spelets slut. Tabata menar dock att det är omöjligt att avlägsna precis varenda liten bugg i ett så stort och öppet spel. Därför kommer det även att patchas, men det ska inte vara ett krav för att kunna ta sig igenom äventyret.
