Ny God of War-uppdateringen lagar buggar

Santa Monica Studio har varit väldigt måna om att uppdatera God of War och ge oss en så flytande och buggfri upplevelse som det bara går. Personligen började jag mitt äventyr innan Day 1-patchen nådde PlayStation Network, och även om jag är en riktig buggmagnet stötte jag inte på en enda felkod. Nu får vi ytterligare en lagande patch.

Uppdatering 1.16 bjuder inte på några större nyheter, utan patch-noteringarna nämner endast ”löser diverse buggar och kommer med förbättringar.” Det är däremot härligt att se att Santa Monica verkligen minimerar de allra minsta problemen och försöker ge oss den bästa upplevelsen som det bara går.

Stor multiplayer-uppdatering till Archangel i sommar

Actionspelet Archangel är en VR-upplevelse som finns tillgänglig till Oculus Rift samt HTC Vive, och nu berättar utvecklarna Skydance Interactive att de kommer att släppa en stor multiplayer-uppdatering i sommar.

Den arkadiga shootern kretsar kring enorma mechs, och det nya materialet kallas för Archangel: Hellfire. Uppdateringen kommer att inkludera ett deathmatch-läge där spelarna ställs två-mot-två, och ett samarbetsläge där spelarna ställs mot horder av fiender.

Det nya materialet kommer också att inkludera fyra nya kartor och sex färska mechs som delas in i tre olika klasser som kommer med olika vapen. Dessutom arbetar studion med att göra några förändringar i cockpiten för att ge en smidigare upplevelse.

Archangel: Hellfire släpps till Oculus Rift och HTC Vive den 28 juni, och ni ser en teaser för materialet nedan.

God of War uppdateras – gör texten större

Tidigare idag rapporterade vi om att God of War fick en fantastisk start i Storbritannien, och spelet har hyllats av både spelare och media – inte minst av oss. En del av spelarna har dock upplevt att texten har varit för liten vilket gjort den svårläst, och det löser nu Santa Monica Studio med en uppdatering.

Det handlar om patch nummer 1.12, och efter att den är nedladdad och installerad går det att ändra textens storlek i spelets meny.

God of War finns tillgängligt till PlayStation 4.

The Witcher 3 uppdateras med HDR till PS4 Pro

I fjol berättade CD Projekt Red att The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt skulle komma att uppdateras till PlayStation 4 Pro och få stöd för HDR. Uppdateringen har dröjt, men nu är den äntligen här.

Förutom möjlighet till HDR avlägsnas några buggar samtidigt som det ska bli stabilare och bättra optimerat. Dessutom får sig även grafiken en liten uppsving.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt finns tillgängligt till PlayStation 4, Xbox One samt PC.

Ny massiv CoD: WWII-uppdatering

Den första expansionen till Call of Duty: WWII närmar sig, den 30 januari släpps The Resistance som ger oss tre nya kartor för flerspelarläget, och en ny bana där vi får skjuta Nazi Zombies.

Activision och Sledgehammer Games förbereder oss emellertid med en stor uppdatering, och i patch 1.09 balanserar de vapen, gör det snabbare att återfå liv och lagar en hel drös av buggar. Dessutom har högkvarteret pyntats med flaggor, bilar och andra godsaker, och utvecklarna tjuvstartar med The Resistance-eventet.

Grand Theft Auto Online uppdateras – Smuggler’s Run är här

Rockstar fortsätter att stödja sitt enormt populära Grand Theft Auto V och dess onlinemöjligheter. Nu har de släppt uppdateringen Smuggler’s Run, och här introduceras nya möjligheter att smuggla illegalt gods i luften.

Bland nyheterna hittar vi både plan och helikoptrar, bland annat Buckingham Alpha-Z1, LF-22 Starling, Mammoth Tula samt Nagasaki Havok. Dessutom inkluderas ett gäng nya byggnader som kan köpas, och dessa innefattar exempelvis bostäder och kontor.

Smuggler’s Run innehåller också ett nytt Adversary Mode, där spelarna placeras i klaustrofobiska utrymmen, och ska sedan arbeta tillsammans med tre lagkamrater för att hitta ett fordon och stå som ensamma kvar i matchen. Dessutom gör en två nya bilar entré, Vapid Retinue samt Grotti Vision.

Ny uppdatering till ARMS

Nintendo har lagt ut en ny uppdatering till sitt Nintendo Switch-lir ARMS.

Det handlar om patch nummer 2.1, och det rör sig om ändringar som balanserar karaktärerna, och deras attackerande armar. Uppdateringen lägger också till några nya funktioner, så som fem nya träningsmöjligheter. Dessutom åtgärdar patchen även en del problem.

  • Moved “Training” to the top menu.

  • Added five exercises to “Training”, and added difficulty level indications.

  • Adjusted the way the rush gauge fills, decreasing the amount gained for punches that do not connect with the opponent.

  • When 3-4 players start a battle, instructions on how to switch targets will now be displayed. A cursor will also be displayed above the current target for a set time.

  • Adjusted hitbox sizes for fighters, improving issues where hits were not registered despite looking like hits.

  • Changed the pause, results, and replay menus in “Training” to be more convenient.

  • For “Best Stage” in Stats, made it harder for less frequently played stages to be selected, even if you have a high win ration on them.

Minecraft uppdateras till Nintendo Switch – ger spelet 1080p-stöd

Mojang meddelar att de kommer att släppa en uppdatering till Nintendo Switch-versionen av Minecraft idag.

Förutom att patchen åtgärdar diverse buggar och problem, så får Nintendo Switch-ägarna även möjligheten att spela Minecraft i 1080p i dockat läge.

Ny Final Fantasy XV-patch lägger till ”Stable Mode” för PS4 Pro

Square Enix avslöjar via ett japanskt pressmeddelande att de ämnar att lassa ut en ny patch till Final Fantasy XV den 27 april. Den största nyheten är att uppdateringen kommer att inkludera ett ”Stable Mode” för spelare med PlayStation 4 Pro.

Namnet ”Stable Mode” kan emellertid komma att ändras när det kommer till den västerländska versionen, men den nya funktionen kommer att förbättra bilduppdateringen. Square Enix har dock inte avslöjat några specifika siffror – för bild per sekund – i dagsläget.

Uppdateringen kommer också med en ny valmöjlighet som kommer att göra det möjligt att ändra storleken på teckensnittet när det kommer till undertexter, menyer och utrustning. Dessutom kommer patchen med en ny tidsbaserad jaktutmaning, och den här gången står ”Infamous Treant” för motståndet.
