Conan O’Brien avskyr Final Fantasy XV – humor i Clueless Gamer

Vi är många som längtar efter Square Enix Final Fantasy XV, men när Conan O’Brien får testa rollspelsäventyret i det senaste avsnittet av Clueless Gamer går han ‘bananas.’

Tillsammans med Elijah Wood springer O’Brian genom öknen och avlägger en visit i Venedig. Han lyckas även klämma in kommentaren ”Middle Earth Entourage” om äventyrets karaktärsfölje.

Humorn är som störst när O’Brian skäller ut lokaliseringsteamet under slutet av videon, och säger saker som ”This game should be called ‘wait for your death in real time,'” och ”This is like an epic blue balls waste of time.”

Final Fantasy XV släpps till PlayStation 4 och Xbox One den 29 november, och till dess skrattar vi åt videon nedan.

Om ett par dagar lanserar Ubisoft Assassin’s Creed: The Ezio Collection, och nu ger Ubisoft oss släpptrailern.

Assassin’s Creed: The Ezio Collection är en samling innehållandes Assassin’s Creed 2, Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood samt Assassin’s Creed: Revelations. Det handlar om snyggare utgåvor av spelen till PlayStation 4 och Xbox One, medan innehållet är detsamma förutom att flerspelarlägena för Brotherhood och Revelations inte inkluderas.

Assassin’s Creed: The Ezio Collection släpps till PlayStation 4 och Xbox One den 17 november, och ni ser släpptrailern nedan.

Silence släppt till PS4 och PC – uppmärksammas med två trailers

Idag släppte Daedalic Entertainment sitt Silence till PlayStation 4, och PC-versionen blir tillgänglig via Steam om ett par timmar. Detta uppmärksammar studion med två nya trailers.

I Silence axlar spelaren rollen som den 16-åriga Noah som befinner sig i en värld som ligger mellan livet och döden. När lillasystern Renie försvinner beger sig Noah ut för att hitta henne i en värld som, enligt utvecklarna, båda är idyllisk och fylld av faror. Vi blir lovade en emotionell resa, där 3D-karaktärer spelas på en tvådimensionerad spelplan.

Silence finns tillgängligt på PlayStation Store och äventyret släpps på Steam om ”uppskattningsvis två timmar,” medan Xbox One-spelare får vänta till den 18 november, och ni ser de båda videorna nedan.

Ny Uncharted 4-patch släppt – nästa test av Classic-läget försenas

Naughty Dog fortsätter att stödja Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End, och studion har släppt en ny patch för flerspelarläget. Förvänta dig dock inte några spelmässiga nyheter, och dessutom tvingas studion att skjuta upp sitt andra test av det kommande Classic-läget.

Den nya uppdateringen, 1.17.045, och patchen ska bland annat lösa problemet med att spelare kan höra sina motståndare genom headsetet inför rankade Team Deathmatch-rundor. Dessutom har vissa spelare förlorat sin progression vad gäller Trails och rankade, lagbaserade dödsmatcher.

Naughty Dog skjuter fram sitt test av det kommande Classic-läget till den 18 november, och anledningen är att studion har upptäckt en bugg som förhindrar spelare från att levla upp.

Dishonored 2 säljer mycket sämre än originalet i Storbritannien

När den brittiska spelförsäljningen – för den förra veckan – presenterades tidigare idag lade sig både Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare och Battlefield 1 före Arkane Studios Dishonored 2. Nu bekräftas att Dishonored 2 fått en betydligt sämre öppning än originalet.

Dishonored 2 sålde 38 procent sämre i Storbritannien än föregångaren gjorde under sin öppningsvecka, vilket ändå får ses som ett litet misslyckande.

Fantasy Strike – nytt slagsmålsspel från Street Fighter-utvecklare

Sirlin Games avslöjar att de arbetar med ett nytt slagsmålsspel till PlayStation 4 som heter Fantasy Strike.

Bakom projektet står David Serlin som är känd för sitt arbete med Street Fighter-serien, och enligt utvecklaren handlar det om ett spel som är enkelt att lära sig samtidigt som det ska passa väldigt bra som esport.

Nedan ser ni den första trailern för Fantasy Strike, och den 3 december får vi se mer av fighting-spelet under PlayStation Experience.

World of Final Fantasy – gratis Kingdom Hearts-DLC under begränsad tid

World of Final Fantasy är en urmysig upplevelse, där Square Enix mixar delar av sin klassiska spelserie med ett helt nytt äventyr. Under vintern lovar också Square Enix att släppa Sora från Kingdom Hearts, för att sedan ge spelaren möjlighet att framkalla honom till stridsfältet.

Vi har dock inte fått något speciellt datum för materialet, men vi får veta att Square Enix kommer att dela med sig av karaktären för att fira lanseringen av Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue som släpps till Playstation 4 den 24 januari. Sora-karaktären kommer att kunna laddas ned under en begränsad tid, och vi gissar på att han blir tillgänglig kring släppet av nyss nämnda titel.

Samlarutgåvan av Resident Evil 7 inkluderar inte spelet

Det har börjat bubbla upp en ny trend inom spelvärlden, där samlarutgåvor släpps utan att inkludera det berörda spelet. Vi såg det med Battlefield 1, och nu ser det ut som om detta även kommer att gälla Resident Evil 7: Biohazard.

Enligt italienska Gamestop kommer de att sälja en samlarutgåva för Resident Evil 7: Biohazard som bland annat packas med ett gäng plastprylar, ett 16GB stort USB-minne som föreställer ett avhugget finger samt en bok med artwork från skräckupplevelsen. Paketet ska komma att kosta 99,98 euro, vilket ungefär motsvarar 1000 kronor. Men, utgåvan ska alltså inte innehålla själva spelet.

Sony laddar upp för julen med grym reklamfilm för PS4

Sony har precis släppt PlayStation 4 Pro, och dessförinnan fick vi även PlayStation VR. De har höga förhoppningar om att PlayStation 4-försäljningen ska få en ordentlig skjuts, och nu har de släppt en riktigt grym reklamfilm.

Det handlar om live-action, och i huvudrollen hittar vi kungen – The King – som tröttnat på sitt medeltida liv och beger sig ut på en imaginär spelinspirerad resa.

Vi hittar bland annat referenser till spel som Horizon: Zero Dawn, God of War, Destiny samt Street Fighter 5. Nedan ser ni ett kortare klipp av reklamfilmen från Youtube, men den fulla versionen hittar ni på PlayStations Facebook-sida.

Assassin’s Creed Ezio Collection – inga troféer för flerspelarlägena

Ubisoft levererar Assassin’s Creed II, Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood samt Assassin’s Creed: Revelations i ett och samma paket – Assassin’s Creed Ezio Collection. Detta innebär att spelarna kommer att kunna plocka respektive spels platinumtrofé återigen, men den här gången får vi se vissa skillnader.

Ubisoft har plockat bort troféerna för flerspelarläget i Creed: Brotherhood samt Assassin’s Creed: Revelations. Istället inkluderas Revelations-expansionen The Lost Archive som en del av basspelet.
