Ubisoft planerar nytt Splinter Cell

Den första delen i Ubisofts Splinter Cell-serie släpptes under 2002, och nu ser det ut som om studion planerar att utveckla ett nytt spel i serien.

Enligt DSOG berättade Ubisofts VD, Yves Guillemot, detta när han fick frågan om vi kommer att få se en ny del i Splinter Cell-serien:

”Vi får massor av sketcher och förslag kring varumärket, och vi kommer att plocka ett. Jag tror att ni kommer att få se någonting, men ni kommer att få vänta på det.”

Vill ni se ett nytt Splinter Cell-spel med Sam Fisher i huvudrollen, eller skulle ni vilja se en annan protagonist?

Vivendi kan öka sitt aktieinnehav i Ubisoft enligt nya källor

Den franska mediagiganten Vivendi äger idag 25 procent av Ubisoft, och enligt nya källor kan den procentsatsen komma att utökas.

Enligt källor till Reuters kan Vivendi komma att öka sitt aktieinnehav av Ubisoft.

”Det logiska vore att köpa Ubisoft,” säger en av källorna, samtidigt som han eller hon lägger till att företaget också kan komma att söka andra mål i Kina.

Ghost Recon Wildlands toppar återigen den brittiska försäljningslistan

Ghost Recon Wildlands toppade försäljningslistan i Storbritannien under sina två första veckor på marknaden i Storbritannien. Den förra veckan sålde actionupplevelsen bäst av alla spel i regionen återigen, och nu tar det förstaplatsen ännu en gång.

Enligt NPD sålde Ghost Recon Wildlands bäst av alla titlar även i Nordamerika under mars månad, och dessutom är det den titel som sålt bäst i landet hittills i år.

På andraplatsen, gällande den förra veckans spelförsäljning i Storbritannien, hittar vi Rockstars enorma succé Grand Theft Auto V som fortsätter att sälja strålande.

Mosa gängmedlemmar med taco-bilen – T-Bone Chaos fortsätter i Watch Dogs 2

Ubisoft har inlett den andra veckan i deras T-Bone Chaos-event för Watch Dogs 2, och den här gången kallas utmaningen för Taco Truck Mayhem.

T-Bone Chaos-initiativet startade under den förra veckan, och den här gången utmanas vi med att skapa förödelse med en taco-bil. Den som kör över 15 gängmedlemmar med taco-bilen, innan den 1 januari, belönas med 30.000 dollar – i Watch Dogs 2:s ingame-valuta.

Watch Dogs 2 finns tillgängligt till Xbox One, PlayStation 4 samt PC, och ni ser en video som presenterar Taco Tryck Mayhem-utmaningen nedna.

Ny For Honor-trailer fokuserar på berättelsen

Ubisoft släpper sitt For Honor i början av nästa år, och under E3 fick vi ett par videoklipp som visade upp spelsekvenser från actionäventyret. Nu har spelstudion släppt en ny trailer, och den här gången ligger fokus på berättelsen.

For Honor släpps till PlayStation 4, Xbox One och PC den 14 februari nästa år, och ni ser den nya trailern nedan.

Om ett par dagar lanserar Ubisoft Assassin’s Creed: The Ezio Collection, och nu ger Ubisoft oss släpptrailern.

Assassin’s Creed: The Ezio Collection är en samling innehållandes Assassin’s Creed 2, Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood samt Assassin’s Creed: Revelations. Det handlar om snyggare utgåvor av spelen till PlayStation 4 och Xbox One, medan innehållet är detsamma förutom att flerspelarlägena för Brotherhood och Revelations inte inkluderas.

Assassin’s Creed: The Ezio Collection släpps till PlayStation 4 och Xbox One den 17 november, och ni ser släpptrailern nedan.

Watch Dogs 2:s sömlösa multiplayer försenas

Imorgon släpper Ubisoft Watch Dogs 2, och nu väljer de att plocka bort äventyrets sömlösa multiplayer till nästa patch släpps.

Anledningen är att det sömlösa flerspelarläget har skapat tekniska problem, och patchen är redan inskickad för verifiering till Microsoft och Sony. Innan uppdateringen släpps kan spelarna givetvis ta sig an kampanjen, och bjuda in sina vänner för coop via spelmenyn. Funktioner som Bounty-Hunter-läget och aktiviteter som berör spelare utanför vännerlistan är dock inte tillgängliga till patchen släpps.

Watch Dogs 2 släpps till Xbox One och PlayStation 4 imorgon, medan PC-spelare får vänta till den 29 november.

Assassin’s Creed Ezio Collection – inga troféer för flerspelarlägena

Ubisoft levererar Assassin’s Creed II, Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood samt Assassin’s Creed: Revelations i ett och samma paket – Assassin’s Creed Ezio Collection. Detta innebär att spelarna kommer att kunna plocka respektive spels platinumtrofé återigen, men den här gången får vi se vissa skillnader.

Ubisoft har plockat bort troféerna för flerspelarläget i Creed: Brotherhood samt Assassin’s Creed: Revelations. Istället inkluderas Revelations-expansionen The Lost Archive som en del av basspelet.

Ubisoft lanserade Rainbow Six: Siege för knappt ett år sedan, och vi kommer att få se nytt material till actionupplevelsen under ytterligare ett år.

Ubisoft berättar dock inte vad det nya materialet kommer att handla om, men tidigare har säsongspassköpare bland annat fått nya banor och operators.
