Final Fantasy XV – Regalia är mer än en flygande bil

Under evenemanget Uncovered: Final Fantasy XV fick vi se hur protagonisterna i Square Enix rollspel kunde transformera sin bil Regalia till ett flygande fordon. Nu avslöjar producenten Hajima Tabata att Regalia har en till form.

Under ett snack med Microsoft berättade Tabata att Regalia kan ta en ytterligare form än den vi fick se i trailern som avtäcktes under Uncovered: Final Fantasy XV. Vad det rör sig om är ännu oklart, men den nya formen ska bli “väldigt anpassningsbar.”

Nytt material till Star Wars Battlefront

Electronic Arts och Dice kommer snart att släppa en uppdatering till sitt Star Wars: Battlefront. I ett öppet meddelande skriver producenten Craig McLeod att spelarna kan vänta sig flera nyheter som ”kommer till Star Wars: Battlefront snart” och materialet lär släppas när som helst i och med att uppdateringen ska ske under våren.

McLeod lovar bland annat en överraskning för alla som bett om mer offline-material, och spelarna kommer att kunna delta i en hel del tidsexklusiva evenemang. Så här lyder hela meddelandet:

You’ll see AT-ATs in Cloud City, take to the skies in Fighter Squadron, and even spend time in a carbonite chamber. Of course, we’re also adding more blasters and Star Cards, a new game mode, and two new iconic characters we’re really excited about – Lando Calrissian and the cold-blooded bounty hunter, Dengar.

Speaking of heroes, we know they have been one of the things you most like about the game; we’re happy to confirm that there will be eight total heroes included in the Star Wars Battlefront Season Pass (which includes Greedo and Nien Nunb released with the Outer Rim pack) – two more each in both the Death Star expansion and our yet-to-be-revealed fourth expansion pack. More on the heroes to come this summer.

Datum läckt för The Witcher 3: Blood and Wine?

CD Projekt Red har ännu inte avslöjat när den sista The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt-expansionen Blood and Wine kommer att släppas. Den polska spelsajten GRYOnline säger sig emellertid ha både information och ett släppdatum för det actionpackade rollspelet.

Spelsajten skriver att Blood and Wine kommer att släppas den 7 juni, och att vi har ett 20 timmar långt äventyr att se fram emot.

”Blood and Wine är ett 20 timmar långt äventyr som introducerar den helt nya regionen Toussaint, och den tar Geralt till ett land som inte är smittat av krig, där atmosfären är sorglös och resan inkluderar ridderliga ritualmasker och en uråldrig, blodig hemlighet.”

Enligt GRYOnline kommer vi inte bara att få träffa på nya färgstarka karaktärer, utan även gamla personligheter från tidigare The Witcher-äventyr. Dessutom ska expansionen innehålla ny musik och utrustning.

CD Projekt Red har inte kommenterat ryktet ännu, och det ”läckta” släppdatumet skulle kunna vara en placeholder, men dessa brukar oftast sättas i slutet av en månad. Studion har emellertid tidigare sagt att Blood and Wine kommer att släppas under årets första halva, och mer klarsynta uppgifter lär vi få under PAX East.

GTA V har dragit in en halv miljard dollar på mikrotransaktioner

Rockstar har varit väldigt givmilda med sitt Grand Theft Auto V och dess onlineläge – Grand Theft Auto Online. För ett drygt år sedan släppte studion den stora Heists-uppdateringen, och den skapade ett sådant tryck på servrarna så att de packade ihop helt vid släppet. Utvecklarna har också erbjudit möjligheten till mikrotransaktioner, och nu avslöjar studion att de dragit in en halv miljard dollar på de små transaktionerna.

Vad detta kommer att ha för påverkan inför nästa del i serien återstår att se, men det står ganska klart att de kommer att lägga ett stort fokus på onlinedelen även den gången.

Kika på utvecklingen av Deus Ex: Mankind Divided

Autodesk har besökt Eidos Montreal för att titta närmare på utvecklingen av studions Deus Ex: Mankind Divided.

I videon får vi se studiochefen David Anfossi tala om sitt och hans teams äventyr, och vi får även se en glimt av utvecklingen när Autodesk filmar inne på Eidos Montreals kontor.

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided släpps till Playstation 4, Xbox One och PC den 23 augusti och ni ser den nya videon nedan.

Massor av videomaterial för Star Ocean 5

För en dryg vecka sedan avslöjade Square Enix att de kommer att släppa sitt Star Ocean: Integrity and Faithlessness till Playstation 4 den första juli här i Europa.

Square Enix höll en livestream för tri-Ace kommande rollspel, och efter sändningen släppte studion lös tre stycken trailers för äventyret. De två första videoklippen fokuserar på karaktärerna Fiore Brunelli samt Victor Oakville, och den tredje trailern lägger fokus på stridssystemet.

Tales of Berseria – förlängd trailer när japanska datumet utannonseras

När Bandai Namco nyligen teasade om när de skulle avslöja det officiella släppdatumet för Tales of Berseria fick vi två nya bilder från den japanska rollspelet. Nu berättar studion att de kommer att släppa sitt JRPG till Playstation 4 och PS3 i Japan den 18 augusti.

I samband med det utannonserade datumet levereras också en förlängd video av spelets tredje trailer. När Tales of Berseria kommer till Europa är Playstation 4 och PC formaten som gäller, men vi har ännu inte fått något bekräftat lanseringsfönster för vår region.

World of Tanks – japanska pansarvagnar till PS4

Wargaming har släppt en ny uppdatering till sin Playstation 4-version av World of Tanks (här hittar du recensionen) och den kallas för Imperial Steel. Den här gången utökas spelet med 15 nya stridsvagnar av japansk pansar, och vi får bland annat se ‘Type 3 Chi-Nu-Kai’ som endast fick se dagens ljus som prototyp under det andra världskriget.

Uppdateringen inkluderar även fyra nya kartor att kriga på – Redshire, Pacific Island, Highway samt Steppes – och 16 nya pansarvagnar från Tyskland, Sovjetunionen och Nordamerika.

Trailer för nya zombiematerialet till Call of Duty Black Ops 3

För en dryg vecka sedan fick vi släppdatumet för det kommande DLC-paketet Eclipse till Playstation 4, och dagen som gäller är den 19 april (släpps senare till Xbox One och PC). Nu har Treyarch och Activision släppt en ny video för zombieupplevelsen som inkluderas med det kommande nedladdningsbara materialet.

Zombiematerialet kallas för “Zetsubou no Shima” vilket betyder ”ön av förtvivlan” på japanska

Detta inkluderar Destinys apriluppdatering

För ett par dagar sedan fick vi veta vilka Playstation-exklusiviteter som den stora aprilpatchen till Destiny skulle komma att innehålla. Nu har Bungie släppt lös uppdateringen, och med den kommer självfallet även en lista över alla punkter som den berör.

Uppdateringen är gratis och blir tillgänglig för alla som äger The Taken King. Det är den största patchen sedan Bungie släppte den massiva expansionen och nedan ser ni den stora listan över alla nyheter som den för med sig.

    • Swapping between Special weapons during Crucible matches now no longer retains ammo between weapons.
    • Ammo spawn conditions have been changed for all modes except Elimination and Mayhem:
      • Special ammo spawns after 3 minutes, then respawns every 2 minutes (each crate has its own timer)
      • Heavy ammo spawns after 5 minutes, only once per match
    • Reduced the total Ammo Inventory for all Sniper Rifles by roughly 5-7 rounds (exact amount depends on a given weapon’s Magazine and Inventory stats)
    • Reduced the total Ammo Inventory for all Shotguns by roughly 5-7 rounds (exact amount depends on a given weapon’s Magazine and Inventory stats)
    • Reduced the amount of ammo granted by Crucible-specific Heavy Ammo bricks to grant 0.375 of inventory (was 0.5)
      • This change affects all Machine Guns and only a handful of Rocket Launchers (Truth is one of the affected Rocket Launchers).
