För andra året i rad kommer Sony inte att delta i den årliga E3-mässan.
Det var nog inte många som trodde att Sony skulle avtäcka PlayStation 5 under E3 utan precis som med PlayStation 4 lutar det mesta åt att de kommer att hålla ett eget event för sin kommande konsol. Vad som däremot hade varit tänkbart var att de skulle haft möjlighet att visa upp mer från sina spel och dylikt under mässan.
I ett officiellt uttalande skriver Sony så här om varför de inte kommer att delta i årets E3-mässa:
”We have great respect for the ESA [the organisation behind E3] as an organisation, but we do not feel the vision of E3 2020 is the right venue for what we are focused on this year. We will build upon our global events strategy in 2020 by participating in hundreds of consumer events across the globe. Our focus is on making sure fans feel part of the PlayStation family and have access to play their favourite content. We have a fantastic line up of titles coming to PlayStation 4, and with the upcoming launch of PlayStation 5, we are truly looking forward to a year of celebration with our fans.”
