D.I.C.E. Awards är en av de mest prestigefyllda tillställningarna när det kommer till att utse årets bästa spel, och The Academy of Interactive Arts and Sciences upplaga för 2015, där de utsåg de bästa titlarna för 2014, vanns av Biowares rollspelssaga. Precis som i Sverige på Spelgalan var det alltså Dragon Age: Inquisition som blev utnämnt till fjolårets bästa spel.
Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor sopade hem inte mindre än åtta priser, däribland några oväntade som ”årets prestation vad gäller ett spels berättelse.”
